Media Event October 26 at 10:00am at the Legislature in Edmonton
Hello AUNP members. We have been invited to join the NPAA for a media event in Edmonton at the legislature next week on October 26th at 10:00 am. The NPAA invites all NPs available to join, to help make a stand for the value of NPs across Alberta.
The NPAA has been advocating with the government for an NP’s ability to open publicly funded practices and to be able to do the excellent work that an NP does WITHOUT having to charge Albertans for this care.
With over 1 million Albertans without a primary care provider, NPs are the solution.
Susan Prendergast, the NPAA current President, will be speaking at this event and taking questions from the media. The event will feature a patient, a government representative and the NPAA executive.
